First Crib Dismount

Yesterday morning I caught Will in the middle of his first attempt at a crib escape (picture a big grin and all limbs clinging the top railing). 

This morning he executed his first crib dismount flawlessly and silently.  The sound of the baby gate closing finally got our attention and poor Will was discovered before he could make a surprise "unassisted" visit to our bedroom.  

Now I know why he was working so hard on his core strength. That practice balancing on a basketball really paid off...

Sigh...it looks like they are one step closer to toddler beds.
