Pumpkin Patch

A few weekends ago we explored a pumpkin patch with Nana and Papa.  The boys loved the train ride out to the pumpkins and hay bale maze...

On the way, we stopped to chase chickens and feed farm animals...

There were so many pumpkins to choose from.  In the end, the boys determined their picks by dropping and tasting them...

-Will's tasty choice-

The hay bail maze was dark and scary inside and perfect for climbing on the outside...

-Papa, Aaron and the boys climbed to the very top-

Exploring outside and enjoying the festive fall sights was the perfect way to celebrate the season...

Will reminded us that snacks (besides pumpkins) can also make things cozy. So, we headed back on the train and enjoyed some warm apple cider, old-fashioned doughnuts and train whistles...

We are already looking forward to another trip next year...
